For 2010 Nacre will work alongside visiting artists to learn and present May O’Donnell’s Pursuit of Happiness, Eleanor King’s Moon Dance, Doris Humphrey’s Soaring, Anna Sokolow’s Session for Six and Ode to Apollo created by Isadora Duncan to the glorious music of Schubert. Nacre continues their partnership with American Dance Legacy Institute to present the Ecce Etude from Danny Grossman’s masterful Ecce Homo and Limon Etude which is a celebratory piece exploring the signature elements of choreographer Jose Limon. In addition to this expansive showcase of repertory, Nacre welcomes 2009-10 guest choreographer Rebecca Rabideau from the dance faculty at Nazereth College in Rochester, NY. Ms. Rabideau’s choreography has been described as "movement with integrity, nuanced and detailed, with a clear intent behind every action."
